I live around the corner and had been interested in visiting for some time. When the day came the experience was a lukewarm average. The antipasti okay, ingredients a bit beyond their prime and served at a speed that suggest microwave. The primi again, okay,...More

This restaurant was very pleasant. The dinner menu was interesting and had flavour combinations like vension with chocolate, and rabbit with pistachio - both were very yummy and with generous portion size. They have wine also by the caraffe which is good value. The dessert...More

We visit this place because on the internet it looked ok. Being there the food was not really different than in all the tourist places. You can eat but don’t expect something special. Be aware, you cannot have coffee here. They say it takes to...More

Was a bit disappointed actually considering the reviews and the fact we went there as it was recommended in the guide book. The wine tasted a bit off as though it had been open a while and they didn't do any kind of fruit juice...More

A small restaurant with a fun, modern vibe and imaginative dishes executed perfectly. Lunch is a pre fixe menu. Go, order, don’t ask questions, then…just enjoy. Do not pass up the tiramisu...it is outstanding!!

Stumbled on this lovely little cafe which seems to host a mix of local people and travellers. The lunch menu is set and comes in just the right portions. Food delicious, service gracious and attentive, I'll gladly revisit when next in Rome.

This place is right in the middle of the Monti area. When I was there, they only had a fixed menu for lunch, so I'm not sure if at another time you can make your own choices. The service was really good, but then again...More

On the way to one of our favourite Osterias we saw this little restaurant. The lunchtime special (a four-course menu including mineral water for €16) looked interesting and we decided to give it a try. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the friendly service and...More

Wonderful experience here! First, you have to get the tiramisu, but the entire meal was amazing in a great atmosphere! Highly recommended.

L’Asino D’Oro is an Umbrian restaurant in the heart of Rome. You might actually find a Bolognese here. The food is consistently excellent and the atmosphere a little more formal that the rest of Rome. This place also has the best lunch deal in Rome...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at

No, there is no dress code, although reservations are probably a good idea, as it is a small place.

If this is a concern, avoid Italy. They do not cater to this and will mock you.
