Based on good TA reviews, my boyfriend and I ate here one evening. We were seated efficiently on arrival and given menus. The food was very nice and authentic, we ordered the lasagne and carbonara, both very nice. Once we had finished our meals, the plates were cleared and we were then left to our own devices. We decided we... More

Very good dinner for our last night in Rome. My teenage son and I had mussels for appetizer.. Very good sauce and fresh. He had carbonara which he liked. I had spaghetti with clam.. Very light and delicious. We shared prawns and artichoke stuff with garlic in olive oil. A lot of food and our check came to 55 Euro... More

Just around the corner from where I am staying and lined up for a repeat visit. I started with mozzarella di bufala served warm with truffle oil, simple but stunning and I want it again. Pasta with lamb and flakes of fried artichoke again was unpretentious but a perfect combination of a few ingredients. Recommended.

We were looking for a nice and cheap place where we can eat and finally we found this restaurant in a small and hide street in the neighborhood of San Lorenzo, it's really good and tasty! Try it!

I went there with a friend from Rome. We had great pasta and great local starter/salad with fried dough, cherry tomatoes, mozarella and olive oil. They also have a good choice of beers and wines The staff is nice, very funny, although english is not their strond side :) I would love to go there again

Let me start off by saying the service was absolutely perfect. Our waiter was so friendly and his mother is the one who makes all the pasta homemade. The seafood was all so fresh and delicious, not to mention my girlfriend and I can't stop thinking about the tiramisu that we had. All around 10/10 restaurant.

Saw the reviews and thought we'd try this place out since it was only 10 minute walk from where we were staying. We were greeted by a lady who spoke decent English. Price is very very reasonable in comparison to places we had been in the tourist attractions. We ordered 2 pizzas, a side salad and 2 beers which came... More

Probably my favourite restaurant ever. Was staying just around the corner and with the 1000s of restaurants in Rome to eat at, we decided to eat here twice. Couldn't believe the price of the food and wine. The quality of the food is some of the best I've ever tasted and would pay an awful lot of money to have... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
