We were tired of walking so we popped in to have a bite here. We had spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were unremarkable. The chicken and potatoes were filling and hot but nothing to write home about. Wished we had kept walking.

Thank alexander.

We had a risotto and a spagghetti with clam, all the dish was full of sand, couldn't eat it. But the most upsetting thing was:on the menu we had at first when we ordered beer was 10 euro. When we had the bill it was 16. When I asked why they showed us a menu in which the price was... More

We came across this small restaurant and gave it a try. So glad we did, the food was excellent and we couldn't fault the service. Not a flashy restaurant but well worth using.

We went to this place for dinner and had lasagne and ravioli. None of the meals were very good, actually really bad compared to other meals we had during out stay in Rome. Staff didn't seem to be very interested or motivated either. All in all not a very good experience, there are so many better places to eat in... More

Family atmosphere with outstanding service, excellent selection of food, and a location convenient to our hotel. Food was super fresh and servers polite. The bathroom is clean, but the toilet needs a seat... Would go out of our way to come here again.

Stopped here on the way to Barbarini Metro for some breakfast. Ordered a cappuccino, macchiato and 2 croissants at the bar. Asked if we could sit down and we were told that would be OK by the waitress. Had our breakfast whilst watching someone else being ripped off for their breakfast too. The woman was complaining that the fruit juice... More

Came in for a ligy supper/dinner in the early evening. The place was not crowded, a few guests. The waiter was friendly and accomodating, and not the usual pushy "salesman". Ordered spaghetti alle vomgole and stuffed aubergine. The waiter reccomended a bottle of red that accomapnied the food well. Good food, good service, nice and quiet atmosphere. Absolutely recommendable

Most of the restaurants on this street seem to offer more or less the same menu and food. I ate in several and this is no better or worse than the others. It's prices are reasonable for the area and the food is good.

I visited Rome with my family last month and stayed in the area of Piazza Barberini. Our fist night, we happened to be walking along and we tried Cafe Suggestum. My very American dad was in search of some good spaghetti (and he's fairly pick about it). In the 6 nights we were in Rome, we ended up eating at... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
