3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2012

A good lunch stop in via Tiburtina in the student neighborhood of San Lorenzo; the place is quite small but well furnished with an atmosphere which would remind sailing boats (because of some barrels used as tables); the pizza is quite good; fast and neat service, the ratio quality/price is worthwhile.

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
