This restaurant is very nice, simple and beautiful. I loved the food, seafood starters were great, good wine choice, waiters very very kind. Very nice romantic night!

First the good: This restaurant is open late (until 2, they say) and offers a creative menu, with seafood-oriented takes on Roman classics. The carbonara al mare, for example, uses cured salmon instead of pancetta and is a good dish. The fried calamari was also good, even if I had to ask two different people for the side sauce listed... Dear Diplo, nobody try to fool anyone! Who asks to eat raw shellfish gets the restaurant's menu and not the bistro. That's why we brought only the restaurant menu. Same thing for the bread that is instead of the service as described in the menu :) The restaurant service costs slightly more because it is included a welcome glass of... More

We reserved for 8pm on the same day (Saturday) and were the only guests at that time, but at 10pm the restaurant was full. Mainly young folks. They have a restaurant menu and a bistro menu, both with a focus on fish and seafood. We had a 3 course menu each and a bottle of wine, for 125€ in total... More

We dined there last Wednesday which is live jazz night. The welcome was charming, the ambiance excellent and we were seated in a quieter room. Because it was live jazz night the menu was the bistrot menu which is simpler and cheaper than the restaurant menu. I had a crudi appetizer and tonarelli with shrimps. Very tasty. My wife and... If you like fish, really fresh fish...well, the Crostaceria is place for you. We were back to this small cosy romantic restaurant - very well run by owners Jonathan & Diana - this quality fish is not cheap, but you can, at a moderate 40,00 € have a 5 course fish menu and a pasta (delicious). Otherwise just choose from... More

We were looking for things a bit "off the beaten path" (and by that I mean Via Cavour) in hopes of getting higher-quality, more authentic food. While walking back behind Via Urbana, we stumbled onto the next road up (while patronizing Fatamorgana!) and saw La Crostaceria. It looked nice, though wasn't open at the time. We saw that they had... More

This causy fish restaurant recently changed owners. Now it is run by Jonathan & Diana with great attention & enthusiasm. The place is not big but has a friendly atmosphere, perfect for a dinner for two, or with friends - The fish (raw & cooked) is VERY fresh and the wide variety comes in daily from the best fish markets....
