Their gelato was amazingly wonderful, and the chocolate sauce was to die for. I had hazelnut and sampled my husband's pistachio, and both were perfection. Great find!

This was the second worst gelato I had in Rome but it was definitely the most expensive. Pistachio had no flavor, chocolate gelato was only ok. I had to go to gelateria la romana to reset my taste buds.

After seeing the shop and its chocolate art, we decided to at least try the gelato! It was one of the best we had. It was the perfect treat for a hot day. I took two fruity flavours, lemon and mango, while my boyfriend went for the crema and chocolate. Plus the chocolate on top was really great. A must... More

really yummy icecream, I love how they dip the cone in melted chocolate & crushed nuts. They also have large selection of chocolates, cakes and delicious treats, gorgeously wrapped, perfect for a gift - a bit expensive though. The downside is that it was a bit crowded (it probably always is), when it was our turn to chose icecream, there... More

Venchi serves excellent gelato in numerous flavors and delicious chocolates. This one is located near the Spanish Steps and can get crowded.

Best gelato in Rome (and possibly Florence). Yes, it's a chain, but super good. Think Godiva makes gelato. Definitely a repeat every night you're in town.

Got a good recommendation from a local for the gelato at Venchi. For 4.50Euro you get a medium sized cup or cone with three flavours of gelato. I tasted lemon, milk chocolate and salted caramel. Only the milk chocolate was noteworthy. Pricey, smallish portions. I'll go back to Lemon Grass with it's much larger selection of interesting flavours and generous... More

We sampled gelato in several places, including Heladro. This was by far the best anywhere. So delicious and they prepare specialty cones (e.g. Dipped in chocolate and rolled in cocoa nibs) to order. Our favourite flavours were strawberry, mango and chocolate caramel hazelnut.

Loved the gelato and wide varieties offered here. You must be treating yourself if you get one, prices are over the average here but again with quality like this it's very well deserve! Don't forget to choose your cone with your choice of "toppings" hazelnut is amazing! And their crepes are delicious too! Nothing to complain about. The service is... More
