Actually how so many people putting 5 stars I thought to find what doesn't exist anymore. Anyway still good for a feeble memory of Roman cousin

Though a bit out of the town, this restaurant was really a nice surprise and a great culinary experience. It also seems a place where the locals go with their friends and families, so one more reason to give it a try. The menu is written on a black board without prices attached but the costs turned out quite reasonable.... More

We reserved a table and at arrival they said they don't recognize the name. After looking into their reservation book we found our name. English is spoken very hardly and the waiter had to google the menu to show us what they have to offer. After telling him that we don't eat pork he brought us a plate of prosciutto... More

One of my favourite food memories of my trip to Rome... The pasta was heavenly! The beer I had with my lunch was ice cold & delicious. The service was warm & friendly. Though the waitress did not speak (much) English, we were able to communicate easily enough using basic words & gestures. If you're looking for authentic Italian food,... More

We both had choices based on the waiters recommendations and the dishes did not fail to disappoint. I am a coeliac and the waiter understood immediately and there was no issues.

Wonderful experience and certainly worth the 20-25 minute cab ride to the suburbs. Our waitress spent time translating the menu and we sample a good proportion of it and loved it all. Some highlights included meatballs, onion rings!, green beans, pasta and clams, and carbonara. Definitely felt like we were off the beaten path and experiencing a real local gem.... More

We were a little skeptical when we first arrived because not only is the restaurant a little out of the way but also all the food had to be translated from a black board in Italian with no prices at all! But turned out to be not only one of the best but also the most reasonably priced meals we've... More

The moment I walked through the door the smell of outstanding food permeated the air. Excellent Roma cuisine - homemade pasta with bacon and a nice house red wine with refreshing and decadent deserts. The wait staff was outstanding and translated the extensive menu for our party of five. The meal was inexpensive, but you would never know it by... More

Am excellent meal at very reasonable prices. A local joint in a residential area with great food. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Not to be missed!

This is a little bit out of town but was recommended by the apartment owner I stayed at. Was well worth the trip out. First attempt to go was fully booked and then on a Monday night it was still rammed. Food was excellent and unlike any pasta dish experienced in Italy. Service was very good as well considering how... More
