This is a wonderful place to buy cookies. The street that the store is in isn't the best but the taste of the cookies that you can buy easily make up for the outside look. We bought 1 Kg of cookies to bring and they...More

Stopped here as part of a tour and had to come back for more. The cookies are simple but delicious - must try are the ugly but good cookies which are hazelnut and the chocolate dipped shortbread cookies.

Charming local bakery! Hard-to-find but a true gem in Trastevere. Try some "brutti ma buoni" (crunchy-chewy hazelnut meringue cookies) ... so delicious!! The staff was super friendly, very passionate, very helpfull, didn't speak much English but gave us great advice in choosing. We were not...More

You should walk to Trastevere while in Rome and, when you are there, you must go to this bakery. It is excellent by any standard and has some of the best cookies, biscotti and tarts that we have eaten anywhere in our travels. While we...More

We dropped by before they closed at 8pm, and bought some biscuits to try. They were really good (especially the ones with cherry or apricot jam), and really affordable too (think it's 17 euros per kg). We encountered a walking tour group visiting the place...More

A quaint bakery that's easy to miss, but totally worth searching around for. We ordered a wide variety of little biscuits and baked goods, sampling a good number of things we had never tried before. Everything we tried was absolutely fantastic, so much so that...More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
