Came here for dinner this evening. We had bruschetta to start then the pizza for main. Both were tasty and filling. Then had the fruit and ice cream for dessert. The service was excellent and the food was perfect. Will go here again on our stay.

Very charming, traditional restaurant, great service and lovely live music. Best pizza cheese I've ever had at a very reasonable price.

We stumbled across this place by a coincidence and we wished we found it on our first day. If you like a proper old school waiters serving you food on trolleys, knowing how to treat the guests and a typical Italian chef with a white hat making an appearance asking how the meal was, then you found your restaurant. We... More

We were staying at the Splendide Hotel which is a 5 minute walk after arriving in Rome. I had the minestrone soup which was good but not great, it had a bitter taste to it. Service was good and consistent which is great. Prices are good as well. Mains we had spaghetti matriciana and ravioli in a cream sauce. Both... More

This little hidden gem is an absolute must....when in Rome and all that!! I would like to say that I researched in detail but I must be honest and say that I booked this table by chance as we were tired after hours of walking and simply wanted a restaurant near to hotel. Firstly the food is fantastic.....and in my... More

Went for dinner att Christmas time. We where well looked after. The staff where really on there toes. We had a risotto for starters. Pretty ordinarie. Grilled fish for secondo. Well cooked and draped with a lemonsauce. Really nice. The atmosphere is like nothing's changed for ages.....

After a couple of night eating out in Rome with either good food or good service but not both we stumbled upon this little gem of a place. Friendly atmosphere, great food, fast polite service and live music with the added surprise of the waitress having a head turning voice resulting in the most enthusiastic applause of the night, best... We remembered this wonderful restaurant in the area from having stayed nearby on a previous trip. In spite of the fact that we mis-remembered the name (it turned out to be Aurora – not Arenula), we did find it and entered into a welcoming atmosphere where we were the only guests. Our meal started with a small chilled glass of... More

We went for dinner with our family - probably best of the restos we visited during our stay. The staff was attentive and service was great. They started with complimentary spumante as a welcome drink. Food and portions were perfect. Highly recommend.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
