Delicious gelato and friendly staff! This cafe/bar stands out in all of the places we visited in Rome.

Terrific little eatery near our hotel. Owned by two older sisters who are very gracious and charming. Wide variety of food, from sandwiches to full meals. Great gelato and pastries. Wonderful interaction with the staff.

Having recently revisited the Café Lotti with my girlfriend, 8 years after having been there with my parents, the place has fortunately not changed one bit. A quintessential Italian café, with regulars and locals coming and going, every customer treated with superb warmth by the...More

After a long walk, we dropped in here for a coffee and sandwich. The elderly staff were absolutely charming and helpful. In fact, we felt quite guilty having them wait on us! When we got back to our hotel, we realised they'd totalled the itemised...More

Loved this cafe/bar, a real local family cafe which takes care of you like you are one of the family! They encouraged my poor attempts at Italian and gave me a wonderful Riso dish with Prosecco to wash it down! As a solo female traveller...More

Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and
Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a
posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and
models while bored housewives hung out in streetside
cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the
cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to
five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law
firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to
