Kimuchi was fresh, which is a proof of good restaurant. We ordered chon, bibimbap, kalbi, and a bottle of maccori, and the total price was only 54.

We took a mix menu of the best korean dishes. There was ALOT of food. Everything tasted wonderful and authentic to me. Also we got makoli (maggeoli) and soju. On this trip I'm going to go back for second pipimpap.

Came here with my aunt who lives in Rome and we love Asian food and have tried many. Having experienced some really great Korean restaurants in New York we were hoping to find something similar. Well the place looks a little "unsophisticated" from the outside, maybe a candle or two center pieces and some dim light could make some difference,... More

Terrific find, especially when needing something different. Authentic, generous portions and great food. Must try.

I lived in Korea for over 3 years and know authentic Korean food; this place has it. I make it a point of visiting a Korean restaurant in each city that I visit. This is the best in Europe, so far. The side dishes are perfect and spiced perfectly.

On our first night in Rome we made it across town to eat here. Grilled pork belly and beer. An oasis of non-Italian food. Over the next couple of days as we staggered around Rome's old remains surrounded by selfie stick sellers and and their prey, the thought of cold noodles for lunch lured us back across the Tiber. Cold... More

If you tire of pizza and pasta, and long for some fresh, nutritious, exciting cuisine, this is the place to go. The service was attentive and charming, and although the dishes look pricey, you get loads of side dishes and even fresh pineapple for dessert included. Arrive hungry, don't order more than one dish to start with, or you will... More

I went there the first time last week and I must admit that I really liked it. Each of us had a different kind of noodles so that we could try from each other. In addition they served us some side dishes like kimchi, potatoes and beans which were all very delicious. It's not very cheap but there portions are... More

The vegetarian rice rolls I ordered contained crab sticks or as the staff said beautiful "fruit de mer" Wich it by no standard is, and especialy not if you dont eat meat! The staff was also quite rude, hardly spoke a word english and for some reason thought that a woman buying liquor was moraly wrong. Stay away if you... More

There is only one word to describe I-Gio: excellent. I have been there numerous times, and every time the food is fantastic, and the service is wonderful. The only downside to this restaurant is they close at 10pm which is very strange in Italy (as most people don't get dinner till around 9:00). Nonetheless, this restaurant is not to be... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
