Paulo is a super attentive host. Watch your meal as it's prepared! Seafood is the specialty, but everything was excellent! This restaurant, located off the beaten path in Balduina, is well worth a visit. We went twice in three days!

I think the best way to describe the restaurant is as a 'Italia with focus on seafood'. It is a somewhat small and if I'm not mistaken, family owned, restaurant. You find traditional Italian dishes, but they come with a nice sea spin. My wife and I had the antipasto, a primo and after that there wasn't much space left... More

Please go here. Great little restaurant in a neighborhood, away from the plazas. Service was very personal. Almost walked right by it. I don't remember the awning as the picture shows. Food was soooo good. I got he octopus ink pasta w/ seafood. The seafood appetizer was so good my wife, who is bit skittish about exotic seafood ate everything.... More

I've been back to Festo Avieno several times and each time it's absolutely delicious. But this past Saturday was so exceptional that I felt the need to write yet another review. If this place was in the center it would be one of the most happening restaurants in Rome. You really get bang for your buck too. So I would... More

The food is very fresh, and cooked perfectly. Love the service. The waiters are so nice and friendly. Never had any waiter like them. I think this is the best restaurant in this community. Worth the money.

In the area staying at a local hotel and took advice from Tripadvisor for this restaurant. We have no regrets, it was an excellent experience. We started with oysters, they were perfectly fresh, and absolutely delicious, which is saying something since we come from Boston where the oysters and seafood are superb. My husband had a fish of the day... More

One of the best meals I've ever had in Rome. And I've lived here for nearly 20 years. Super high quality fish and real attention to details. The wait staff was kind and even spoke some English. The host was friendly and kind. The deserts were incredible. In a quiet residential neighbourhood in North Rome but definitely worth checking out... More

We stayed at the Rome Cavlieri and, after first finding this restaurant on google maps and then tripadvisor and then being stuck in a taxi for close to 3 hours due to a soccer game, we arrived. It was our last night, and we regret that we did not come here every night. Luckily, they had one table available for... More
