Away from the crowd, this is a little welcoming restaurant with interesting dishes. We liked it a lot. Fresh products and innovative combination of tastes and flavors.

Our food was wonderful and unusual. The pasta was superb, the cheese and meat plate was a work of art. Wine list was excellent and the desserts, especially the lemoncello cheesecake devine! And prices were very reasonable.

Our second visit to this lovely restaurant did not disappoint! We had the pleasure of eating there during our last visit to Rome, and saved the best for last during this visit. The food is a welcome change from daily doses of pasta and rich...More

We had a nice meal outside here. Some of best pasta we've ever had. We arrived Sun night for dinner about 630 without reservation (near opening time) and were seated immediately. Wine is 25 to 35 Euro per bottle, typically. Dishes probably slightly overpriced compared...More

After touring Rome all day, we almost decided not to go to Sofia's. We gathered our energy and decided to go and what a delightful meal it was. A modern looking small restaurant with very few tables inside and some on the street. The owner,...More

This was our favorite meal in Rome. Pretty casual, but classy. All 4 of our meals were delicious with outstanding presentation. Excellent wine list, and the best service. It is very convenient to Spanish Steps area, too.

paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the
very centre of the city. Even though it has some of
the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle
Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque
parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty
face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural

Sofia is our pet dog and mascot,…. a friendly and loving Jack Russell who accompanies us in our adventures. This is why we decided to give our most precious project her name! An intimate, family-run restaurant with very few rules of thumb: a menu which respects the seasons, using the finest of Italian produce, always fresh every day; traditional Italian recipes together with other dishes specially created by our chef, and inspired by the flavours and colours of Mediterranean cuisine; our desire that your lunch or dinner take place in intimate surroundings and make you “feel at home”.
