Right next door to the hotel madison (where we stayed) lovely staff, lovely food. Good atmosphere following the rugby, staff couldn't do enough to accommodate us. Open until the early hours so was able to pop back in to get a drink/snack. If I return to Rome would definitely visit here again.

Nice and small coffee place, where you can have also pizza or pasta. Just next to Termini station, so if you need to place while you are waiting for your bus or train, I do recommend this place. Friendly staff and also food was eatable.

Popped into this bar a couple of times whilst staying just around the corner. Great for a quick drink or a snack - the pizza was great although we didn't realise it was sold by the weight so the bill was more than we were expecting ( our mistake probably) Great location just across from termini station - very clean... Staying in a hotel around the corner it was nice to find a nice clean modern cafe we had a Panini and a expresso to start the day nothing better, the cafe is also just outside of the main train terminus and near the hop on hop off bus terminal a good selection of delicacies are available

We had an hour to burn while we waited for our Iron Horse to Milan to arrive. We had a nipper with us, so the roaring praise from an earlier parent review resonated with us. The yanks that pushed my wife and child out of the way to storm in from behind us generated glares from the waitress that gave... More

Pizza, sandwiches, espresso, beer, water...they have it all. Reasonable prices! Although you can keep going down Via Marsala another 50 meters to the 5th Ave Bar and get the same for 10% less.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
