So good, we went back the next day... This is a small, very informal wine bar cum restaurant. Tightly packed, wooden bench seats, surrounded by endless shelves of wine - which all added to the setting. You can't book, so you have to make your...More

Oh ma gerd, this was delicious. It's a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. The food and wine were both fantastic. The electricity went out twice, but it just added to the cozy charm.

Not sure if we went too early (6pm) but there absolutely was no atmosphere! Some background music would have helped to cure the awkwardness as it felt like we were sat in a mausoleum. We’d heard tell of this amazing ‘wine bible’ which I was...More

If you want great wine, great charcuterie and fantastic tiramisu then this is the place. It is simple and we just loved the atmosphere with all the shelves stacked high with bottles. Thoroughly recommend

Went here because saw it was one of the best wine bars in Rome. It was a fine wine bar, good selection but would chose others over it in the future.

One of the best meals I had in Rome. Very simple and very typical. The personnel was friendly and very helpful with the choice of wine. It was during summer and we ate outside, marvelous.

We visited here after seeing recommendations on trip advisor and would definitely return for another visit. People were not joking when they said the wine list was a few inches thick!! From the outside it does not look like much but is lovely and cosy...More

For us no visit to Rome is complete without at least one meal here; it never disappoints. The setting is authentic rustic, the wine selection is extensive (to say the least) and the food always excellent. The pate’s and pasta dishes (duck ravioli and hare...More

We drank lots of wine when we visited Italy, but like everything, they don't taste the same back home. Best to find a local restaurant or wine merchant for recommendations. Prosecco is easy to find.
