Ok so here’s the deal. If you want to taste an incredible pizza go here. If however you want to feel relaxed whilst doing so, do not go here unless you are up for experiencing hostility and literally being prodded and pushed. On entering at...the opening time I walked in through the open door and politely asked if they were open. Several staff were there and they all just stared at me and my wife. Not a great welcome. I asked 3 times and was eventually and quite bluntly told to walk in. It was quite clear they didn’t really want non locals in. You then get a thin piece of paper with menu items on and a biro. Joining the dots we put a mark next to what we wanted. One of the waiters then came over and spoke loudly in my ear whilst simultaneously jabbing me hard in my ribs. My jumper was on the chair next to me and he wanted it moved so he could squeeze two more people in next to us with a 6 inch gap. (it was originally two tables joined together so no big deal leaving my jumper on the chair as we didn’t expect anyone to sit next to us ). This didn’t warrant physical contact or being shouted at. Bit out of order tbh and normally I would’ve said something or reacted but as it was our 30th wedding anniversary it kind of added to the bank of memories and made it mildly amusing. All said and done the food was incredible. The atmosphere hostile, the vibe more than rough and rustic and just what you want for an authentic experience of local dining and a story you’ll tell your grandkids. Don’t come here if you want a warm, friendly vibe. Do come here for the food.More

Food was amazing, we had pizza and some antipasta. The staff was also really nice, at first they were testing us out a little bit (as we are foreigners), but we love this!! Once they noticed we loved it they even gave us some extra...wine on the house.More

If you like friendly locals, no-frills/ delicious food and the sound of people enjoying themselves, this is your kind of place. It's a pizzeria that others try to imitate. Authentic and unpretentious. In two visits, I ate three pizzas...and I'm not a greedy man!

Really rude service- we couldn’t figure out why but it was hostile from the minute we stepped in. The pizza was just ok- except the margarita was dripping in too much oil and liquid. Rome is full of great restaurants and friendly people- this is...NOT one of them!More

I love that this is a happy, neighborhood place where we were seated outdoors shoulder to shoulder with our neighbors. Finally, after years of being on the "to try" list, we were able to have their famous crispy, thin crust pizza margherita con bufala. I...still cannot figure out how such a thin crust--like a cracker-- can support the toppings. Friends told us not to have the house wine, but this is Italy, how bad could it be? Do not have the house wine. We wanted to love the pizza, but it just did not have a lot of taste, I am sorry to say.More

We got very lost and stumbled on this gem. Best meal so far in Italy. Very authentic, service was great and despite long line, we were seated quickly.

Utterly the business. Great pizza, great prices, great atmosphere. Only lost a star ‘cos service was a bit difficult, but then when eating solo that happens sometimes. Ottimo.

Great value and delicious pizza. A bit of a wait but well worth it. Always crowded with good reason. Will definitely go back.

After reading reviews we went in trepidation expecting to possibly be shouted at. I mean everyone there was fine, no extra fancy service but not rude in any way. If anything just loud! The pizzas were delicious! I had a capricciosa and it was great....Not so keen on the Calzone, but then it’s not a Roman specialty and I suspect had everyone had pizzas we all would have been happily satiated. Good pizza, good beer. Stick to the basics and you can’t go wrong! We were whizzed through our meal, def not a place you sit for hours and chat, but that was fine with us.More

The staff are very accommodating. The restaurant serves fast and the food was great. Filetto di baccala served around pizzerias in rome are usually frozen ones that can be bought at the supermarket but in this restaurant it is not the frozen one but was...made by themselves. You can taste the quality. The staff are nice people and they will treat you well.More

Tremendous value excellent food amazing service friendly staff. The welcome and service were absolutely 100%, and they must be a family run busyness , as we were treated with respect and decency. Being welsh, we have had difficulty understanding menu's but everything was explained and...we had what we expected.More

The pizza base are nice, thin and crunchy. The toppings on the pizza are poor quality. The deserts are pretty bad, especially the tiramisu, was a very bad quality one. The service was very quick but not friendly. For the same price we could have...eaten better somewhere else. Rome is full of fantastic places to eat.More

This place gets incredibly busy. If you plan on eating there, don't go during peak hours. The wait was 45 minutes + to sit down, so we opted for takeout. The pizza was pretty good. They use quality ingredients. The pizzas are very thin so...they're not as filling as you might be accustomed to if you're traveling from the US, but that's certainly not meant as a knock on the quality of the food. My one serious complaint about this restaurant was that the staff was incredibly rude. I only met two rude people the entire time I was in Italy and both of them were employees at this restaurant. In all fairness, it's not a particularly touristy area and the locals seem to really love it, so the staff doesn't have much of a need to be very proficient in English. Seeing this, I tried my very best at Italian, and at one point the lady at the register pretended like she couldn't hear what I was saying. However, the table next to the register understood very clearly what I was saying and when they saw what was happening and intervened, the lady at the register gave up the charade and processed my order.More

I'm back in England. I suggest you contact da Remo directly although a table for 10 people may be a bit of a tall order for them because they are so busy,
