Based on the recommendation of our AirBnB host, we visited this restaurant for dinner. It is mandatory to do a reservation, otherwise you won‘t get a place in this restaurant. So, the restaurant was crowded, but the service was fast all the same. The food...More

This is the type of restaurant you find in most of the tour guides, Michelin guides etc. It's close to the monuments, the food is tasteful and it's always busy. The downside is that you also pay for the premium location. After a big lunch...More

We booked a reservation the week before we came (recommended to book in advance). Helpful staff, we had the “Sophie” and baby lamb chops, both cooked to perfection. For dessert the white chocolate soufflé is amazing! Whole bill came to €80 for 2 courses each...More

Not impressive from the outside, but wonderful once you enter this charming, family-run restaurant. The tables are relatively tightly packed. The service is superb, with friendly and competent staff. We were recommended to come here by the hotel and loved it. Service was quick and friendly, and very cosy atmosphere. Good choice of traditional food. We went for pasta (carbonara, seafood and ricotta ravioli) all of which was excellent

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at

Sorry for the delay in responding. I have only just seen your question. This restaurant is close to the colosseum. I would say from the Trevi fountain it would be a twenty minute walk.
