Very good restaurant just off piazza Navona. The food was delicious starting with fried vegetables with cheese. The pizza dishes and pasta dishes were also very good. All in all - highly recommended.

A tour guide had recommended this place, and we're so happy he did. It was bustling on a weekend afternoon, but we were seated right away and glad they could accommodate our group of six inside in the air conditioning! Many great pizza and pasta...More

The pizza was great. The gnocchi- not so much. The pizza crust is super thin and wood oven cooked. The flavor was great and my husband and I both enjoyed it. The gnocchi was the worst of the 3 times that I had it in...More

The main reason for visiting La Montecarlo was to re-encact the photo Morrissey took when visiting this restaurant a few years back and very recently in 2017. Out of the menu we chose Spaghetti Bolognese and Rugatini Carbonara. Food was exquisite.

Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a
five-minute walk of each other, the
Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and
most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful
throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art
galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood
museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the
streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
