Fantastic pizza and pasta, good wine, pleasant and quick service in normal prices. The restaurant is quite simple and full of photos from the history of the restaurant. Mostly Romans eat in Montecarlo and this is a great sign if you want to taste authentic Italian cuisine. We stayed for one month so we had the chance to try so... More

Servizio buono. La pizza però lascia a desiderare. Non fine fine come dovrebbe essere a Roma, è sapore medio. Non tornerei. Good service. Pizza not great though. Not the lovely thin Roman style that droops when you pick it up. All rather tasteless too! Wouldn't go back.

Fantastic Italian cuisine . A good choice of pizza and pasta ,the price are totally affordable. We both take pasta , cacio e pepe and 4 formaggi gnocchi (to die for !), and a great tiramisu . With two drinks we paid 28€.

This restaurant is one of those that will linger long in the memory. Authentic pizza and pasta served in beautifully clean and well kept surroundings. The waiters are very helpful and theatrical in a welcoming, charming way. The service is ultra quick and the food delicious. A dress-down place with plastic chairs and ta les but don't let that put... More

This a place we always make a bee-line for when staying in Rome. We visit Rome every 2 years for the rugby International match between Wales and Italy. Pizzeria La Montecarlo has never disappointed. Friendly and fun. A wide choice of good wholesome food. They get the important things right. Nothing fancy, paper tablecloths, mis-matching cutlery, good house wine served... More

We went in a friends trip to Rome and we were recommended to have lunch in this place. It was the perfect choose as we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere there, staff was very nice and price was also fine for what we ate. Only con is that you cannot pay with card but that is a must... More

Pizza here was soooooo good. It's the traditional SUPER thin Roman pizza. Note about ordering garlic bread/bread as an appetizer in Italy, it comes as one large piece so they look at you a little funny if you order one to share (not in this restaurant, but in others). best part about this place is the pizzas were super cheap!

Absolutely the best Italian cuisine I have ever found! And the atmosphere - so family and Italian <3 How did I get there? Thanks to lots of recommendations from my Italian friends. Absolutely must visit when you are in Rome! I've been there more than ten times during my 3-months stay in the Eternal City.

Wanting a quick and easy dinner, we stopped into La Montecarlo. This restaurant has several dining areas including outside dining (weather permitting). We were seated in the first dining room as you come in near the kitchen. We enjoyed where we sat as it was interesting to see what came out of the kitchen. The restaurant filled up quickly with...
