Disappointing. A cuisine that tries to be sophisticated, but lacks in finesse and taste. The place is an hybrid: neither rustic nor elegant. It's expensive for what it offers

We have been in this restaurant yesterday night. The ambient is very nice, quiet and jazzy. It's perfect for a couple. The wine menu is large enough for a good choice of quality. The waitress was very kind and smilly. We have been served fast and we have enjoyed our meals with a great pleasure. In conclusion if you want... More

Stopped in after dinner for a glass of wine. Was nice. My glass was reasonably priced--many other options on menu were expensive. But was a very cool space!!

This little out-of-the-way restaurant was mentioned in Lonely Planet so decided to have lunch here after a tour of the Vatican Museums - and I am glad I made the effort to find it! In the guide, it said that there was a small menu, but I found there to be plenty to choose from. The waiter was really sweet... More

Nice preparation and presentation. Taste good. Nice and professional staff. Good quality / price. Large choice of alcohols (wine, brandy, etc).

We had visited this restaurant/wine bar a couple of weeks ago for lunch and had only ordered appetizers which were all excellent. This time we had dinner there on a busy Friday night and once again everything was superb. We ordered a few of the appetizers we had ordered for lunch: the veal meat balls and the fried stuffed anchovies.... More

Returned here after maybe ten years. It hasn't changed and is still a charming hidden gem. We had to be brief as it was a very quick business lunch. The rabbit "Primi" was absolutely delicious. I only wish we could have had more time or returned for dinner. The restaurant /wine bar is in an old brick decor - just... More

We stopped in for drinks, and has such good service and great wine, that we decided that on our way back from Tuscany we would come for supper. Our second time was just as great! Ask for Mario's wine recommendations, he's the one with the mustache, he's great! The combination with the food was perfect, and everything was delicious.

Excellent food And perfect service. The wine list is so complete, so many choices. Wéve been there twice. I really recommand it. It's a little bit expensive, depending on your wine bottle.

Very pleasant find, lovely wine and nibbles, good way to relax after a very hectic day sight seeing, friendly staff, can sit either outside with high chairs and wine barrels as the table - very novel.

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
