Most restaurants in this area looks like tourist traps and perhaps the Pummarola isn't much different from the others in that aspect but somehow, it felt quite authentic. The staff was attentive and friendly and the food was much better than expected. The antipasti with...More

We ordered prosciutto pizza and rigatoni. I still can not believe the plates they brought. The pizza had no cheese and the sauce was some cheap can Sauce which tasted bad. The prosciutto was not prosciutto and the rigatoni was probably older than me. We...More

This is a bargain compared to the other restaurants with outdoor seating in the area. We walked around a lot and checked out the prices of all the restaurants as we were 6 people, all with big appetites. We were seated quickly and when we...More

Compared to the first night in Rome, this was excellent. Good, simple food, freshly cooked, served hot. Good, none intrusive service. This is not a pretentious establishment, just simple honest food. Enjoyable evening.

We ordered salad, pasta and pizza. The pizza and pasta are awesome, the salad can be better and we don't recommended. The service was very slowly.

We ate here for a quick lunch. We ordered a spaghetti and meatballs and tomato spaghetti. The food was about average and averagely priced- we weren't looking for anything particularly special- but our experience was tainted when we tried to catch one waiter's attention to...More

Nice pizza even nicer Sangria. Really close to the Pantheon, we looked at restaurants directly opposite and they were a lot more expensive, it's very affordable here and the staff are friendly.

One of a few restaurants clustered by the Maddelena church near the Pantheon, and the one we felt did the best pasta (at a very reasonable price). Went here 3 times during our stay. They were also happy to make a few tweaks to their...More
