I tried this place after a recommendation from a friend from Rome. It's sort of a must in terms of coffee when you're in Rome. Plus sitting outside and enjoy the view of the square is pretty nice. Take a good book, seat, enjoy a good coffee and mostly enjoy Rome.

There appears to be two types of Romans; those who prefer Sant Eustachio (one "c") and those who prefer Castroni coffee. If you're by the Pantheon just around the corner is Sant Eustachio where there is usually a seat for table service, for those who don't speak Italian the menu has photos, or a long line that moves quickly for... We stumbled upon this cafe after we had visited the Piazza Navona. We wanted a refreshment break away from the busy Piazza, and found ourselves in the nearby Piazza Sant'Eustachio. We selected a table out the front of Sant Eustachio il caffe. The price was on the expensive side, although there was a bowl of pretzels and a bowl of... More

Coffee was good in this famous Roman institution. However e5.5 for a coffee to sit down and being ignored by off hand staff who was more interested in his phone, then having to resort to order and pay at counter was a bit stiff. Underwhelmed. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

We visited this coffee place three years ago, and wanted to visit it again. We went twice on the same day, and the coffee does not disappoint! We only paid 1.80 euro for a cappuccino and it was very nice. Compared to the 9 euro we paid in Café Greco, my husband prefers the coffee here. Also had a last... More

I was looking forward to this place after seeing reviews. Once we went there, we were dissappointed. The place is really small inside and the line was horrible. We sat outside and ordered espresso and espresso machiatto. It wasn't that tasty as expected and costed 7,9 euros.

What a let down!!! Lobster tails (pastries) over baked and cappuccino train station quality. Not worth the hype and beware don't even think of sitting down, as you will be quickly told 'that costs extra'!

As tourists we were charges more! There are two types of prices - for coffee at bar or when sitting at the table. As tourists we were changed (three-times higher) service-at-table prices for drinking coffee at the bar stand. Otherwise, coffee and deserts were really nice.
