We popped in for a lunch. Not the cheapest place but we are in tourist trap central. Service was hard to initiate but once done we were well liked after. Pasta excellent. Seafood salad with focaccia excellent. Not a bad choice - doesn't deserve all the negative reviews !

Ate here last night and whilst I had a decent steak, my wife ordered roast lamb which turned out to be a plate of bones and grissle. Appalling. We complained and only got a shrug. The steak came with absolutely nothing else and a portion of fries was €5.00. Altogether we spent €76 for a one course meal and a... More

Came here twice with my girlfriend, very good pasta, pizza and gnocchi. Excellent serving and there is an old man serving who looks like Marlon Brando.

The steaks were huge and delicious, roasted artichokes mouthwatering, and the service was impeccable. We returned a few more times during our stay.

Horrible food Very very poor Saltimboca swimming in fat, but worse was the reaction from the staff One waiter did not care at all, the other one agreed that the restaurant was terrible and he already resigned and would leave very soon Also very dirty restaurant, not cleaned for long time

First you are convinced to take a seat.. well, if you are hungry and you need a toilette it´s not hard to be convinced... The food is expensive and not good. We got sweet Gnocci salmone, and a burned pizza.. really horrible... I was asked, if the food wasn´t good. I told them, but they didn´t care at all.

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
