The first time I went to Pizzarium Bonci with my friend who was visiting from Spain, we were both blown away by the deliciousness of the pizzas! The pizza is of typical Roman cut "al taglio" (not the round type you find at restaurants). The crust is crispy and fragrant and the toppings very generous and very creative! The waiters... More

Pizzarium Bonci is nearly in every Rome guide. It is one of the famous pizza places of Italy. However when you taste the pizza you feel a little bit regret that you came all this way, because it is off the track from major tourist attractions. I do not think it is not delicious, however when you read the comments... More

After having been to St. Peter's square and making enquiries at the museum we thought we would walk the extra ten minutes the opposite direction after having read the reviews about this place. We were so glad we did. The pizza is to die for. We are already planning to return tomorrow after our visit to the museum. Definitely worth... More

Fantastic ‘deli’ style pizza experience near the Vatican, well worth the 10 minute walk from the Vatican (50 meters from Cipro Metro station). Rub shoulders with locals as you buy superb pizza by the gram (EU2.00 for a average slice). Expec to stand in the street or against standing tables on the pavement. Well worth the visit, best pizza in... More

We ate here multiple times for both lunch and dinner. Excellent pizza with very interesting toppings: codfish and artichoke or potato and rosemary. The crust was a bit thicker but still nice and soft - delicious!

The crust is amazing and truly a work of art. Great combinations for the toppings and the sauce is perfect. We walked across Rome to get here and we we were not disappointed. My wife and I are taking my in-laws to Italy in May and we will certainly be having lunch here at least once.

I didn't know about the hype, nor that the Pizzarium was mentioned at Bourdain's show. We got here because it is just a couple of steps from our condo and our drive told us this is not just the best pizza in Rome, this is the best pizza in Italia :-) We got there about 2pm in the middle of... Husband and I went on a food tour and this place was one of the restaurants on the tour. Pizza is great and staff were very nice. Full of locals in a non touristy part of Rome.

Simply delicious. The cheese, the sauce, the bread. No words can capture the pleasure. It is a bit out of the way, but don't be discouraged by the walk. You shall be richly rewarded.

Truly great pizza. Shop is tiny and the line is often long, but it's worth the wait. Crunchy and flavorful crusts, good amount of flavorful but not overpowering toppings. Unlike most pizzas you find in NYC.
