After my experience I wouldn't recommended this restaurant to anyone.Poor pizzas and poor service. Quite expensive in relation to quality , pizzas seems not autentic, basic, simple and not to much effort .

Cheap food and drinks. The pizza was good, but the service was average. The place is average too. They were doing some drilling work in the kitchen while we were eating. Pretty much wat the title says

a classic pizzeria in Roma. Always a fun experience and the quality to price ratio is very high. There is better pizza, both in Rome and in many other big cities. But his is better than average and a safe bet

This pizzeria was suggested by locals and comments on tripadvisor but we were disappointed. The red house wine was not good either. I wouldn't recommend this place for pizzas...

One of the best pizzeria in town. even though the restaurant is quite small and dark but the pizza and the price are all good.

Ate here in September 2016 the last night of a two week trip to Italy (amalfi, Naples, Rome). This place had been recommended buy a lot of people and guide books. Pizza were very good but not riveting, and service was a bit off kilter. The wine selection was not great (Maybe you can BYOB?). But certainly glad I tried... More

I came to this place following the recommendation of friend from Rome and it's one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The neighborhood is really nice and it's worth to walk from the other side of the river. If you want to have really good pizza this is the place.

Super-central location, very good prices, excellent (and beautiful-looking) service, and, last but not least, really good pizza! I enjoyed everything about this traditional Roman cuisine, its a 'must' for tourists passing by and enjoying Trastevere.

We visited Venice, Florence, and Rome during our trip to Italy. Dar Poeta was by far the best pizza we had throughout our trip!! It was thin and crispy and the sauce was just sweet enough! They are large too, but I wanted a whole second pizza after the first because it was so good! It was tucked in in... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
