We visited this restaurant after a recommendation from our hotel manager. The food was good and reasonably priced. The restaurant did have a 'chain' feel to it, however the food was good and the service was fast and friendly

Simply great! A local restaurant preferred by local people - and they know why! As I said above, the atmosphere, service and food are really good - and good value too! We went 4 times during our stay in Rome and were greeted as friends each time. Don't be misled by the name - the menu offers a great selection... More

This place is great! Not your touristy trap like many nearby. They serve great, high quality (!!!) dishes ranging from deep fried artichoke (seasonal) to a pretty solid steak. Their appetizers are phenomenal and the Torta Della Nona is a great way to finish the meal. You can book online for even more convenience.

Had some excellent pasta on a Saturday night. The place was packed with people waiting. Wine was great, as was the service. If not our last night in Rome, we would have returned.

Visited this restaurant a number of times during a recent trip to Rome. The 5 of us ate a variety of pasta, pizza and the mixed grill, Anti-pasta dishes are amazing. Even the most unadventurous among us was happy trying new dishes and enjoying. House Reds and Whites are lovely and excellent value for money @ 9 Euros a1 Ltr.... More

the best place to eat is the one where locals go. All over the world. And I, as a roman, I often eat here. It' s always full of people (and this is another good sign for a restaurant), nevertheless the service is quite good, there are many experienced waiters and they do the best to manage the crowd! this... The pizza was nice and the restaurant was packed with Italians. It also is a good value for your money. I ate there for about 35 euros together with my girlfriend. The only thing that was a litte annoying was the preference the waiters had for Italians.

We went there twice. The quality of food and wines is good. BUT service is not so good. The owner of the restaurant ( you can see her photos everywhere) is very rude and unhappy. Second time we went there a waiter dropped the whole bottle of fine on me and went on without even say sorry! My dress was... More

We were in Rome for a weekend and we found this lovely restaurant run by family business. It was only 5mins away by walk from our stay and we went every night there since the atmosphere was amazing, AMAZING STAFF especially Jimmy who assisted us during these 3 evenings. Very cheap for the the type of fresh food. We did... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
