We saw a door and a sign on Via Luciani indicating a Japanese/Malasian cuisine, but it did not look open and we went up the stairs to the restaurant wondering if it was open...it was, but at 7 pm there were 3 out of 40 tables occupied. Staff was friendly and helpful choosing vegan options and we ordered 7 plates... More

This is worst Japanese restaurant I've been to in a long time. The food isn't bad quality, although the service is atrocious. Without getting into the nitty gritty details, let's just focus on the highlights of terrible service: 1) we waited for 45 minutes before getting the food 2) during this time, we asked a waiter if he knew about... Very good Japanese and Malaysian cusine at reasonable price in Parioli area. Good and fast service with friendly waiters. Excellent for both lunch and dinner, with AYCE plan. Nice lively atmosphere with a beautiful veranda. Take away and delivery also available. Five distinct dining areas for a different dining experience, including a separate good size room for private party area.

We were initially pleased that they opened early for us as we had a young child and had been looking for somewhere to eat for some time. For the price we would have expected a little more service because it was almost non-existent and we were the only table. The food came quickly and was of a good standard for... More

I was very surprised by the good quality of the food at a very reasonable price. They have a lunch special which allowed the two of us to eat sushi and other Japanese dishes for 33 euro while the normal bill would have been 110.50 euro. Nice Japanese decoration and with a nice outside terrace one lever up from street... More

I used to be a recurrent customer, the food is not bad, the service was always terrible. today it was just too much though. I have waited almost 1 hour for my food, items were missing, the waiter rolled his eyes and three boys at a table next to mine found a hair "embedded" in the sushi. the waiters went... More

The food wasn't bad. But the service was horrific. Our order came out in dribs and drabs. No apparent logic, just a dish here and a dish there. When we asked for water, the waitress rolled her eyes…as if we had already demanded too many different items (ice, diet coke, napkins, etc.). There was also a verbal argument between the... More

caveat emptor is all i can say. the food is passable, the selection pan-asian. the setting is nice, and dishes are prepared quickly. the only problem is the serving crew. first of all, huge trash bags were carried through the restaurant (!)... disgusting. isnt there normally a back entrance for such things? next, there were several waiters/waitresses, but only ONE... Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
