Great service and food. The member of staff was very patient with me when I had to explain my food intolerance and they catered for all my needs. One of the most friendly and tasty places we visited and the wine was just brilliant. We...visited it twice over our stay in Rome. The carbonara was definitely a “must try”. I absolutely recommend it!More

Good solid restaurant. Most excellent service. We visited this restaurant our first night in Rome. The restaurant was lively, but not noisy. The service was attentive and good! Appetizers and first courses were really very good. our second courses were OK. They just lacked the...oomph of the earlier courses - either the meat was a bit on the tougher side, or there was just something lacking in them. Sadly we had to skip desserts as we were really stuffed! A good, solid restaurant. But needs to take things up a notch to be truly good and live up their Bib Gourmand rating.More

Delicious! Price to taste ratio was amazing. Rigatoni Carbonara with pork cheek is unlike anything we can get back at home or even with other places in Italy thus far. The lamb pastry appetizer was also such a surprise and the steak slices with lard...was very tasty. Again based on what the cost is, the experience was fantastic.More

I have never left a restaurant feeling as dissatisfied with the food that I ate as much as I was leaving this restaurant. I actually went there based on its inclusion in the Michelin guide and, at the end of the meal, I was scratching...my head about whether or not it’s inclusion in the Michelin guide was some error on their part, or if the guide’s Italian reviewers have different standards ! The pasta course I had was beyond tasteless and characterless even though it’s description in the menu was so flowery. In reality, it was fake. Not to mention that I asked for half an order to be surprised at the end that they charged me much more than half the price for the plate. Reason I was given ,” we used the same amount of flavoring additives for your half order”. I didn’t argue with the guy because I was soooo disgusted by the meal itself that all I wanted was to just leave the restaurant. The meat course was some stringy shredded beef in a watery tomato sauce that tasted more like the inside of a tin can than anything near a fresh tomato. Again, flavor was downright FLAT. The very memory of this meal gets me seriously nauseated.More

We were extremely disappointed in this Michelin star restaurant. The pasta was good but the 3 meat dishes that we ordered were poor at best. The veal saltimbocco was tough, the steak, which was ordered medium, was served almost raw. They did take it back...and cooked it to medium rare but the steak was chewy and fatty. The lamb chops were prepared breaded and fried. I think the reason they bread them is so that it looks like more. They served 2 lollipop size lamb chops whereas at every other restaurant we have order lamb chops, they serve 4-6. All portions were small. Service was fair. Once we asked that the steak be cooked more, we were ignored by all servers. I actually had to get up and search for the waiter to pay the 400 euro bill. What a waste of money! Before we even left the restaurant, 2 of the men in our group of 6 said they were still hungry - so McDonald’s it is. We are not big McDonald fans but the burgers were better than the Michelin Star restaurant.More

Another pleasant dinner at this lovely restaurant. Excellent pasta dishes, and very nice variety of wines available by the glass.

Charming restaurant in labyrinth of narrow streets in Rome. Lovely atmosphere. Service excellent. Food was delicious, interesting, and thoughtfully prepared. Delightful evening in every way.

We read about this charming restaurant in the city as recommended by Michelin so our expectation was there. This was a mistake on our part to expect, as the experience was just ok at best. The food was hit and miss. The Croquettes didn’t taste...of anything and the Slow-Braised Beef was too sweet, like sugary sweet. But the Saltimboca was good and the Tiramisu was divine. The waiter who took our orders was so condescending, like we were wasting his time for us being there and talking to him. He never came back to our table anymore and never asked how was the meal. His colleagues were more friendly and accomodating and did all the work but that first interaction left a really sour taste. What a way to make a first impression!More

We had a delicious dinner with family. The cod was very fresh and tasty. The wine pairing was great. Terrific service. I would highly recommend. Seemed like a lot of my fellow Americans were amongst the guests.

We enjoyed the food in this restaurant. The fish as a main course was juicy and tasty, but the side dishes were a slight disappointment since they were not seasoned.

Hidden away in a charming vicolo in the center of Rome, this restaurant was a delightful dining experience. Our knowledge waiter made excellent suggestions and we enjoyed delicious and creative dishes. The recommended wine pairing was perfect. Reservations are a must as there was a...lineup. We also observed locals so were assured of an authentic culinary experience.More

An absolutely cosy and welcoming place with spectacular food and outstanding service. The artichokes were divine. But, the real winner was Saltimbocca alla Romana. We were visiting from London and left impressed. Special thanks to Ido, who looked after us and made sure we didn’t...leave without trying their brilliant tiramisu. What it delight the tiramisu was.More

We had a nice first experience so we made a reservation to celebrate my 60th birthday. The food was delicious. but they began to pressure us to leave, insinuating they had reservations for the table after us! The check was rudely dropped on the table...before asking for it and we were told minutes later the table was reserved after us! That is no way to run a business. we won't go back. By the way, the toilet smell from the bathroom carried up to the main level!More
