Tried to book a night of jazz in Bologna at the at the Cantina Bentivoglio but got no reply to my e-mail so tried this place and tried to book through Trip Advisor. Amazed and delighted that when we turned up we had a table reserved for two in a very packed club. The food was good and reasonably priced.... More

I was in two minds whether to book this place as the earlier reviewers either loved or hated it. First to admit, I am not a jazz fan but I loved the place. The food was OK but the music was great. The tables are crammed in but we managed to manoeuvre our chairs so we both got a good... More

We went to this restaurant because a friend Of ours was playing. I had been only another time here for dinner. Our meal was very good, especially the meat dishes (all the meat comes from a well-known butcher shop in a town in the hills around Bologna). It's not cheap though, as you also need to pay for The Music

we were directed here by the tourist office as we wanted something with music. Cafe Bravo was excellent for aperitivo and as it was so good we stayed for dinner and returned two nights later! Food was really delicious and then the music started on the outdoor stage opposite about 10pm it was good fun and plenty of people watching... More

This place is perfectly situated to enjoy the ongoing live jazz gig set up on a mini stage right opposite. Gets busy at night, get there early. Had Tuna, not bad.

I was at the Bravo Caffe to see one of my favourite band: Robert Glasper Experiment. The host was a pleasant person and at the end we even managed to get a ticket discount, which is cool.

Our hotel recommended this cafe/club. It is a jazz club and has different acts on every night starting from 10.30pm. There is a cover charge depending on the act. The food was amazing and on the night the cover charge was only 3.5 euros but check before you go.

Despite the excellent concert, the meal was unenjoyable as we got blasted out of our seat by an over-amplified bass guitar: the excellent singer had to yell to get her voice across. The prices were very high for what we got, which was really nothing special (12 euros for bread and cheese). Spectators who didn't pay the high cover charge... More
