If you want to try what the real bolognese dishes are, you need to go there. Pasta is fresh and handmade, first dishes are amazing. Appetizers are delicious, sweets too. Second dishes in my opinion are better if shared with others. We took nearly one...More

Cosy little trattoria with a home like atmosphere. The staff and the owner are really nice and helpful. Food is the traditional Bolognese type but just gorgeous, mainly the freshly handmade pasta. A place we'll come back with pleasure.

They no longer accept reservations by phone or email. The owners want to keep the restaurant small, traditional, local and slow paced. They have a single seating for dinner from 19 to 22. You must show up to make a reservation in their opening hours,...More

A bit outside of Central Bologna but well worth the short taxi ride. Read all the reviews and it lived up to all of them. Quite difficult to make a reservation because they hardly answer the phone during meal service times. Perseverance pays off. They...More

Reservations a must which we didn’t have but with the help of TripAdvisor advice we went 15 minutes before opening and got the table beside the couch where one other last minute guest dined. This was the best restaurant and meal we can remember having....More

My wife and I decided to gamble on getting seated at Trattoria di Via Serra, and it was well worth the gamble! It's located in a non-descript neighborhood north of Bologna Centrale station in what resembles what I can only describe as a re-purposed garage....More

I think it will be hard to find anywhere in Italy that makes GF pasta, especially a place that's as authentic as this.
