this was a busy place and seems popular with local people. We ate 'english time' so it was empty but filled up around 8pm. Simple food served hot ,freshly prepared and delicious. My pizza was only 5 euros but it was superb and offered with chilli oil. Something I haven't come across in Italy before. My wife had tortellini in... More

The service is pretty normal and the quality is not as good as I expected . We have got out order after waiting for a while and was even not reflecting our expectation.

I had late dinner twice during last month at Pepperoncino. Close to city centre (you can go on foot from Theatre, Cathedral, Militar Academy and any other important places). We had pizza, that is very good: I decided for wholemeal dough, easier to digest and tastier, aubergine and hoy spicy salami. However, they can prepare also salads, first courses and... More

We eat here every couple of months. The food is really good, the prices are reasonable, and the service is great. It is conveniently close to the historic center, but is outside of the restricted traffic zone (ZTL). Parking isn't the easiest, but there are plenty of paid spots very nearby. The menu has a nice variety, so there are... More

It's ok, but there are better napolitan places in Modena. The pizza also does not macth the Napolitan standarts. The fried starter is quite good though.

We noticed this pizzeria as there were many people waiting outside to be seated. They claim to have an authentic pizza napoletana, i.e. thin, crispy and tasty and their promise is most accurate! We also had tortellini alla panna, i.e. in cream, which were very good. The only negative point was the liquor, a limoncello, which tasted like washing-up liquid,... More

The restaurant was found luckily after a hard working day. We were guided to the room named after Toto (the famous Italian actor). The staff was friendly, also some English knowledge was "available" :-) The pizzas were served quickly. Also some extra alcoholic chocolate was available on request :-) The restaurant seems a good choice for anybody visiting Modena.

It has got a very nice ambience, tasty food and wine. Great service and not heavy on the pocket especially after coming to the town from Florence and Rome!

This is a terrific casual restaurant perfect for large groups. Start with a platter of fritto misto and mussels & follow with any of their delicious thin crust pizza. Reasonably priced, ample portion sizes. Can get noisy as night progresses and rooms fill up. TVs for sports viewing. Good gelato available down the street at Slurp.
