A small but comfortable place in the heart of Parma where you can taste nice dishes from the typical parmesan cuisine and other suggestions depending on the season. We chose plates from the "carciofata" list, a menu now on, based on artichokes proposed in different tasty ways (deep fried, "a la giudia", sautees, on the tagliata... and so on) .... More

A business that has been on the go for decades, this trattoria no doubt will continue on for many more decades. We were seated by chance beside the meat slicing machines where several legs of prosciutto were available so we had to taste. We had 24 year old prosciutto that was so thinly sliced you could see through it, was... More

A liter of wine, a fresh summer salad and Bronzini with potatoes and string beans. That is a very nice way to relax after a good day with clients. While proprietor spoke English, I was the only non-local who entered all night. Food was quit good and I was pleasantly surprised by the fair price. Life is good and Trattoria... More

We were in Parma for the morning, visiting the Duomo, etc., and asked an Italian woman on the sidewalk if there was a restaurant nearby. She directed us to Ronzoni--how serendipitous! It was a weekday around 1 p.m., the time for pranzo (the big midday Italian meal), and we saw quite a few tables filled with lawyers and businesspeople (we... More

I cam across Trattoria Ronzoni during a business trip by invitation of my business partner in Parma. The athmosphere, the menu and everything related to a dinner were so nice, that I look forward to visit again in the first occasion.

We found this restaurant in the backstreets of Parma after we'd just arrived and were hungry for some typical cuisine. This place did not disappoint. We shared a delicious parmesan basket with pear and walnut salad to start, followed by a courgette and courgette flowers risotto (very highly rated!) and a tuna and mackerel salad (also yummy). The bill came... More

We stumbled upon this little restaurant, but it was one of the best restaurants we tried in a food-centered trip through Italy. It was small; we felt that everyone was looking at us when we walked in-- very welcoming, good service, fantastic food. We had a wonderfully executed veal Parma-style with prosciutto and parmigiano, risotto with zucchini and zucchini flowers,... More

On a narrow side street, we wandered into this restaurant by chance after noticing the inviting outdoor tables and smiling waitstaff. We were not disappointed. Standard Parma offerings but done with care and attention to quality ingredients.Pastas were especially good.
