This is on everyone's must visit list in Ravenna, so it tends to be more touristy than other restaurants in town. The food is typical Romagnolo. But, after dining there twice in one week, I found that the servers end up gouging, or padding the bill a bit, for tourists. Prime example is wine. No wine list was offered, only... More

Place was recommended by our Bologna hotel owner as her favourite typical. Besides unusual original decor of true old wine tavern, food was very good, quickly served and very reasonably priced. It could not have been better to find squid in tomato sauce with peas, my favourites on my birthday :)

This restaurant was recommended by our Airbnb host and it was great. We all had Sea Bass with a great selection of vegetables and salad - excellent! The restaurant is very large and catered to a range of people including local families - always a good sign! The menu was also large and had local and regional choices. Cream Catalan... More

Long wooden tables - so interesting to share and speak with others under vast cavern-like frescoes ceilings (modern). Delicious huge amount of charcoal grilled chicken and fish. Lovely atmosphere.

Food was very good local food, not haute cuisine, but exquisitely local. Has a more white collar, young educated feel to it, but informal. Our wait staff was very friendly, helpful, and prompt, while hustling around caring for others. No hesitancy to recommend this place, great atmosphere, but not pretentious. It's an eating place, not a notch on your belt.

Not far from the glorious tomb of Dante lies this glorious restaurant. The building is old, ornately decorated, with tall, cathedral ceilings festooned with murals, lots of dark wood - wine is on display everywhere. Book first. The day we came for lunch there was a thirty minute wait for a table for two. We circumvented that by sitting in... More

Traditional Romanian food and wine. A real Mediterranean Italian restaurant. Italy Spain and Greece meet each other in this restaurant. An Original Italian will say that this restaurant is an Italian but a foreigner will say that this restaurant is the Mediterranean it self.

This was recommended in every guidebook (also by my B&B host). A long room with dark beams and long communal tables. Very nice for the solo diner. Simple food and a good selection of wines. Friendly service. I felt comfortable from the moment I entered Ca'de ven. The place to go in Ravenna.

Our Italian is meager, but the waitstaff were friendly and recommended a great cheese and meat tray, local wine, and two pasta dishes for three of us to share. We left happy and sated. Would highly recommend to family or friends!

It was highly recommended by the tourist office, we went there for lunch. The food was perfect, the wine recommended by the waitress was very good. Definitely will go back.
