My partner and I ate lunch at L'acciuga and loved it. The food, service and wine were all first class. Luckily we both like anchovies because literally every dish was centred on the humble anchovy which isn't to everyone's taste. I had zucchini flowers stuffed with soft cheese and anchovies and had anchovy pasta to follow. Delicious!!

Excellent overall experience! The restaurant decor resembles the internal of a ship. The service was perfect, both waitresses were very nice and even offered a special dish for my daughter because they thought she would like the items on the menu. In fact, the restaurant is not meant to be child-friendly. The food was well presented, fresh, tasty and did... More

Fortunate enough to visit with local colleagues, had a wonderful evening. Our hosts had discussed the menu in advance and selected a local focus of great fish dishes to show off the region. Appreciating the effort they had gone to really showed in the menu as one course flowed to the next, great hosting skills! Coupled with some wonderful wines... More

We went to this Restaurent in search of good seafood. We assumed that fresh sardines would be the safest dish to order as it was the name of the Restaurent. So we started with sardines. When the dish arrived, we were shocked to see tiny slivers of canned anchovy in brine, served with toast. Keeping an open mind, we tried... More

Two nights in Ravenna and this was night two.A wonderful find,we were warmly welcomed. The Menu complete was a cornucopia of tastes, including warm mackerel with raspberries, spaghetti with swordfish and olives, the best grilled prawns ever and a pineapple sorbet. The Wine list is extensive but reasonable.Compared to eating in the UK.This is a gem.

Do you want a pretty restaurant with a nice presentation ....terrible service and completely tasteless food? I made a reservation for 7:30 when they open. I was the first person there. I'm a well dressed married woman traveling solo and spending a lot of money doing it. I enjoy good meals. When I sat down... the ONE waitress (for over... More

If you like sea food, always fresh and tasty and artistically served, don't miss L'Acciuga! It is a ten minute walk from the pedestrian area of the city center and caters mostly to locals, who crowd it almost every evening of the week. It is wise to make reservations.

We called to reserve a table a couple of hours before we went. That was a good idea as the place was packed. Dressed up like the inside of a submarine the room was nice. Other reviewers have said the service was arrogant but it was not the case for us. They treated us very well. It was a happy... More

Perfect fish menu from pre-starters to the very end, great fish tartare with strawberry. A perfect wine selection at the glass. A friendly and personal service. Nicely decorated like a ship - you may like it or not.
