We stopped here for a beer after dinner and I am really glad we did. It was a really neat place with a very friendly and knowledgeable owner. The beers were good, but the birramisu was excellent! You must try it!

Amazing but small bar serving some lovely beers & spirits. The food was the highlight though. I had the "Stinco di miale" (pork shin) & it was the best pork I have ever tasted, it fell off the bone & was with potato wedges & vegetables. The Birramisu was also lovely & unique. The staff were amazingly helpful & friendly,... More

We dined here twice. They have some amazing italian beers and the food matches the beers. try the birramisu with a glass stout. We felt so good - great people.

This place is an excellent pub, with friendly owner, and original food and drink. We tasted burgers, meat and sides dishes, desserts that were very good and house-made. I strongly recommend this pub in Trieste.

We had a fine meal here along with a selection of tasty ales. The service was also very good and we appreciated the recommendations on what to eat, drink and how to pair them.

I wasn't expecting to find this type of bar in Trieste. It was very much like a pub you might find back in the UK, cosy and very popular with people who know about it. We walked past plenty of bars that were empty and you arrive here and it has quite an atmosphere working. We tried the chilli while... More

MastroBirraio offers one of the most varied choices of craft beers, local and not. Three beers are permanent, meanwhile the other five taps change regularly. Wide offer of bottles is also present. Food is really good and satisfying, both for quality and quantity. I'm a serious fan of MastroBirraio and its staff. If you decide to stop by, you won't... More

Really great range of beer on draught and in bottles, even features Angram hand pumps on the bar! Really knowledgeable staff and great food, the best bar/restaurant for you if you want to sample some amazing local ales and beers. A must visit when in the area, great place.

Popped in here on my own and, although it was busy, was found a table. Really friendly owner and staff - couldn't have done more to explain the menu and beers, all of which were excellent. Bruschetta, lovely rare steak on salad and local Trieste Pilsner served by the most helpful and friendly staff. Not expensive either. Really good, many... More
