The environment is refined without being excessive. The menu is aligned with the complexity and quality needed to satisfy an international gourmet audience, while remaining close to the regional foods. My personal suggestion is to go with the local wines selection: given where this restaurant is you won't be disappointed.

We were celebrating my daughter's 18 years birthday, and got the 10 course menu. It was delicius, no doubt about that, but I might have expected more from a two-star Michelin restaurant. To really appreciate this restaurant, I think the wine menu is a must, as the wines are really spectacular. My husband got the wine menu, and was very... More

Everything was perfect. I cried a little during one of the dishes that tasted exactly like the broth my grandmother used to do.

We arrived to the mostly empty restaurant on a saturday evening which is never a good sign. Ordered the 9 course tasting menu with the top wine pairing option. Most of the dishes were very imaginative, but some were well below par, for example the pigeon which should have been the star of the evening. The wines were picked perfectly... More

It is an attractive place, but with no view. The environment is nice but the food had no taste!!! It was all about presentation, most of the dishes were just plain blah. There version of pasta carbonara was ok, but the only good taste came with the very simple cheese course, and even then the staff did not have the... More

I had dinner here with two friends in late January 2016. Expectations where high since this is a Michelin two-strarred restaurant and the one with the best reviews on all guides. Never the less I got an absolute outstanging experience. I got the tasting menu with the rooster, picked the Italian Terroires choice of wines and entered in a 2.5... More

Ambiance is quite pleasant, service is correct. We took 9 course menu. From 9 courses 3 were 5/5, 3 were 3/5 and 3 were 2/5. Pigeon meat was to hard. Given the reputation of the restaurant i expected more. Comparing 1 Michelin star Altran, food was better there.

This is the place you must go to whenever you are in Friuli, or you must go to Friuli to go and eat at agli amici. Perfect environment, superbly furnished while keeping a very warm, familiar athmosphere. Take one of the two menu degustazione and don't be shy, engage the people in a discussion about their history and their philosophy.... More

While the presentation was decent, and the courses we fairly tasty, they were far from superb, let alone worthy of a 2-start Michelin rating. The pigeon was good, and the petite entrees were light and flavorful; however, not once did I feel a "wow" factor. The dried seaweed sprinkled on top is an old trick; but, unless you have top-notch... More

During our family trip in Italy we went for a very tasty and unusual dinner here! The degustation menù is excellent with the wine pairing they suggest, definitely worth trying it out! Even pure sea water on a plate tasted very nice. It was hard to get up at the end though, since we obviously ate too much, including cheese... More
