The place is nice and cozy.... the nice part ends there.... There were 6 of us and we all ordered different things and none of us liked it... We had fish, pasta, ravioli.... And it was all bad...

Fun square to go to in the evening for an aperitif. The first prosecco was a bit flat but they replaced this and the square has 5 or 6 little businesses, they provided great free snacks with a drink. There are plenty of locals and tourists mixing here and pet pooches, kids and families just milling about in the square.... More

Eating in the summer outside in the shadow a quick tasty lunch is always a pleasure. The restaurant has plenty of good dishes served quickly and the atmosphere of eating on this square "Piazza Lavagna" is always wonderful. It is also the right place to spend time in the evening to spend with friends.

Unexpensive, honest and tasty food on a lovely piazza in the old Genoa. The riso alla venere was very good, and the service was extremely friendly. It felt like home. Perfect lunch break!

There wasn't much choice on the menu but that just proved how much they specialised. We all had the vegetable pies, which turn out to be a Genovese classic and absolutely delicious. The tomatoes in the side salad were also wonderfully sweet. Service was very good. The waitress spoke some English, though the restaurant isn't touristy at all and very... More

Located on a delightful little piazza in the historic center, this restaurant serves up an easy and cheap lunch. There are many different choices, from pasta to meat to salad. Everything seems house-made; it's not overly fancy (thank god!), just good, basic home cooking with some interesting twists. Definitely worthwhile if you're in the area.

Great and friendly service! Excellent and authentic Genoese cuisine! Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We have been several times during our holiday in Genoa and tasted delicious dishes such as Buriddas, Stockfish, Arrosto di Culatello, Carasau bread with Pesto lasagne and, last but not least, Rabbit with olives and pine nuts! Good draft beer, very good wines and delicious desserts! We... More

We have family in Genova and know it very well. We are also "foodies" and like trying new places and old favourites at the same time. Well, this was a discovery: the food is simple yet innovative, the price is very good and the service very friendly. In fact we liked it so much we went twice in the same... More

Small friendly and relaxed bistro of no more than ten tables, tucked away in the backstreets of Genova. Handwritten daily menu of specials, not too long, but who needs 100's of choices when the food is this good. Very reasonably priced traditional Italian fare, beer on tap and excellent selection of wines. The crowd seem to be a relaxed, local,... More
