We went there for a quick stop for coffee and some snacks. Tramezzini and focaccia were average but the coffee (gourmand) was great. "Traditional chic" environment. Staff not very friendly. Overall, worth going once just for the experience.

We come here for snacks, coffee, lunch or basically anything we fancy, you can sit down and eat or you can stand in the cafe part and just enjoy a quick bite. The waiters may look snooty but they are actually quite friendly once you...More

We came here during the week for breakfast. We had two espressos and three pastries for €5. The espresso was tasty, the pastries were fresh and delicious, and the cafe was beautiful. I'll definitely go back next time I am in Milan.

Order expresso at the bar to avoid table upcharge and have one the the wonderful pastries. It's a great break from the shopping!

Sparkling chandeliers, alluring displays, beautiful desert packaging. It is definately an experience worth having while in Milano. Aristocratic and from another era. Be prepared though, as the coffee is one of the most expensive in Milano.

Lool. What a crap place ! 5 euros for a coffee. 7e for 30cl of water with a tea bag. Croissant was stale. The only one toilet was really dirty. Waiters was interested and not kindly! Seriously ! An old institution ?

If you are in town, if you are Via Montenapoleone, if you are anywhere close to Cova: just pass that door step and ask to be seated (the bar just won't do it). You'll love it! It is chic and authentic. A must!
