Very good food and very good beverages. The waiters are very solicitous. But... the price in the bill were (very) more expensive than the ones in the menù, and we perceived that only when we left the restaurant. Be aware.

Went here last night as it was our final night in milan. The food was average. The service was good and friendly apart from a few points. As it was our last night we had been for a drink and aperitiv which we had nibbled away a bit too much. So we asked if we could share a pizza, the... More

The small patio was empty when we walked past, it was still early for lunch. Generally wary of places that attempt to lure you in from outside, we found the guy who came out to speak to us to be strangely engaging. Of course we are tourists and we were well aware we were being "worked" but it was done... More

Fantastic service and atmosphere! Shellfish spaghetti was amazing (off menu dish) and wine selection was perfect. Highly recommended.

Ate there this afternoon as we tried to get out of the rain, had 2 sizeable Prociutto Pizzas which were 10 euros each, one large beer at 6 euros, 2 glasses of Pinot Grigio at 7 euros each and another half litre of good house white at 8 euros, bread, service tip etc came to just under 58 euros- service... Sabrina and Emilio (especially Sabrina, she was lovely!) were the most welcoming hostesses and they recommended our meals which were absolutely delicious freshly cooked and excellent value. We visited 2 nights and were made to feel on the second night like family. Such a wonderful authentic Italian welcome. 😊

Some kind of always-busy place in the Brera quarter. We took risotto alla milanese, cotoletta di vitello alla milanese, pizza capricciosa, spaghetti al pomodorro, vino rosso. Not bad. Don't forget: service tips are included in your cheque (11%!).

Unfortunately the food was average, the wrong dishes brought to the table with no apology or offer to replace, the bill hugely inflated and a handbag stolen from under the table, then rushed out the door to avoid the "fuss" being made about the stolen handbag. Avoid at all cost, plenty of other restaurants locally.

Stopped by for lunch after my friend recommended this place highly for its truffle pasta/ravioli. And ravioli I got! It was decent, the taste was nice enough, nothing spetacular but it was not bad either. Then second plate is the lobster, not great, very average at best, and expensive so I do not recommend this dish. Good place for a... More

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
