We choiced this restaurant because it is very close to the hotel and in Milan downtown. I would say that we had a great experience with the italian food, great antipasto, tuscan ham, then homemade pasta and the best cotoletta I have ever had. The bill is normal considering the area.

If you are looking not for a touristy place but a place where regulars come over and over again for last 20 years this is the place. And do not look on working hours that are indicated in Google or here. They are open for dinner! I had eggplant parmesan and it was perfect! In US you always have too... More

You have to walk just a little further but the food is worth the extra steps. We had a lovely lunch with quick and kind service. We enjoyed the quiet of the restaurant whilst being in walking distance of the shopping centre of Milano

Recommended place to dine in. If you are a football fan you will get to witness the Maldini signed jersey. Had the seafood pasta and it's delicious, they are very generous with the seafood.

4 of us ate here our next to last night in Milan. Overall we liked it. Was a Thursday and not very crowded (900pm). Only language we heard was Italian. Server spoke to us in Italian but once he knew we didnt speak it w/ any fluency we got by w/ his English and our Italian. We had grilled fish,... More

The restaurant was pretty nice. Food and service were above average. We had a nice meal there, but the homeless guys on the sidewalk on Gonzaga, drinking and commenting on passing women, take the charm out of a visit to this part of town. I'd go someplace else till they hire a policeman.

Avoid this dated style over substance "tourist trap" restaurant with disappointingly subpar quality food. The decor was "classic/traditional" or a dated Hollywood perception of an italian restaurant movie set, whichever suits you, complete with a signature picture of Will Young and some other known celebrities on the wall. Service was rushed and forced, even though the restaurant was half empty.... More

Dear Mr. Rafael, I am very surprised. You are another person, with just ONE evaluation on his tripadvisor record, who decided to write really bad words about my restaurant. This is not a real evaluation. My restaurant was born in 1939 and it is not a tourist trap. We offer the classic italian food and food from Tuscany. It looks... More

The food came writhing 10 minutes of ordering which leads me to question whether anything was fresh. The table was not ready for our reservation and they proceeded to push two previous tables together with stale bread left over. The host was incredibly pushy with getting our orders out the way and proceeded to force orders out of us giving... More

Dear Nraymundo, my restaurant was born in 1939 and without our quality and service we wouldn't have survived for such a long time. Our service is very fast because in some case, as homemade and fresh pasta, the time of cooking is really short. I understand that you didn't like the food we propose. I invite you personally to come... More

As we entered the Da Bruno, the lady who supposed welcome the guests has showed us the most terrible table although there were better tables which are still no "reserved". Might be because our appearance (jeans, shirt, backbag) was inappropriate? After we insisted, finally we got an appropriate table and hoped for a delicous Italian dishes. Here are our resume... Dear supposed customer, again a person who wrote a very bad evaluation.. and who just joined Tripadvisor. You say you like the Italian food, but you never did an evaluation before.. very strange. It is not a real evaluation. The restaurant exists since 1939, we make great food with passion and we use to reserve the tables to customers that... More

The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
