Being a new yorker in Milan gives you goosebumps in terms of searching the right hamburger or specifically the right americano. Well, after 2 years living in Milan trying lots of different "american" places, today I found the perfect americano and perfect red velvet cupcake. Cheers!

This place is amazing! After discovering it with friends for brunch, which was AMAZING!!! I came back to try the cakes- and let me tell you- the soft chocolate cake is the best in town- NOT EXAGGERATED!! They have the best chicken sandwich club as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Instagram: mimoyounes

A nice hidden gem around the station of Porta Genova. They serve a wide range of coffee and desserts and the interior is very cool. The customer service is also very nice. Pleased to have met you

We visited the place for their brunch and we were really pleasantly surprised! The portions for their omelette was huge, Croque Madame was on point and the pancakes were definitely the highlight! So fluffy and yummy!! Would love to come back the next time I'm back in Milan!

Plates served for the brunch reflect the american style with a choice among several salty and sweet dishes. Some plates are in line with the price (main course with eggs), while others are too "small" considered the expense. Eg. 4 euros for just a slice of bread with nutella. Average expense for a brunch around 20-25 euros. Advised to book... More

I have been here once, it's located in the navigli neighberhood so thr vibe is kind of the same as other cafes in that area. It is really small inside, but it has good cakes and cupcakes (oh the red velvet cake !). They also have tea.

Once you enter this place it will bring a smile to your face, it is very warm and cozy, just like a bakery out to be! However the sweets are not as good as they look. their tea selection and drinks are wonderful. I'd avoid cakes and have cupcakes as their carrot cake was extremely disappointing, very dry and too... You won't be disappointed, I wish I could have tried every dish. It comes with a variety of sides. A little pricey, but pretty worth it, you get an amazing brunch AND a cupcake!! I have to say they were also very accommodating and fit us in before a reservation arrived. I wish we could have stuck around and leisurely... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
