Difficult to find if you are not specifically looking for it, and the small size might be misleading. All meals are prepared to order and the quality is outstanding, specializing in typical Milanese recipes, some available only 'in-season'. Incredible wine selection. Could not fault it.

We found this place through trip advisor, we luckily made a reservation and by 8ish the place was full. My dad and I both struggled to decide what to have because everything sounded so good. We had the asparagus pie and the sausage dish to start. Both were completely delicious. Next we had the Parmesan saffron pasta, and the boar... More

This is a very popular restaurant, if you're lucky you'll get a table for lunch. Simple menu- choose between a few pasta dishes. Decent prices and nice food. Recommend!

Good small menu. Restaurant itself is also small. Reservations are recommended. English doesn't really work at this place, but you'll be fine with anything here. A little gem.

With mostly take away around the station area this place was a pleasant surprise. Reasonably priced and good hearty traditional food. The gentlemen who served us was charming. The guys in the kitchen also deserve a complement. Better than average.

Having seen the excellent reviews I was worried that I might have got my hopes too high. However, it was (almost) all very good. The decor wasn't modern but was nice enough and the ambience was very good. Service was very friendly. We only had one course each but it was very good. A last minute ask for an insalate... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
