Last day in. Ilan, so why not go for a Milanesian restaurant - so we did. The family owned restaurant is quite big, you do though immediately find yourself in cosy surroundings although also like a small step back in time. We ordered the Milanese menu, and got more food than we could possible eat...meatballs, risotto and veal with a... More

This is a great restaurant for people who would like a real taste of Milanese food and get a great look back into history. Having been there for many years, you get the feel for the old and the new. Great food, great service.

If in Milan, just go. Very good atmosphere. Food was outstanding. Was recommended by a local who is an expert in Italian cuisine. Get the saffron risotto and Ossobuco. It feeds two people. If you are alone., just take the other half home. If you are there only one time...just get the risotto and Ossobuco. Great place and great experience!

I had a beef carpacio as main meal. Most of the table had various tasters of Milanese food, wich they loved. Good historic setting, excellent service and excellent food.

This a very large restaurant but still manages to maintain a personal touch. There are several separate areas for seating and lovely scenic gardens. The restaurant décor is very quaint and it seems to be family run. The food was good and reasonably priced. A lovely dinner in a lovely setting

This amazing restaurant is so out of the way for a topical tourist. But take a cab and enjoy amazing Milanese dishes! Purple potatoes gnocchi with crispy bacon - amazing ! Spinach dumplings- havens! Really nice traditional ambience. Wonderful service. I will eat there again when I return to Milan next month.

La Pobbia is by far one of the best locations to catch up with the traditional Milanese kitchen and taste. A must try are the Risotto Variations. The selections of wines is superb and the services is perfect in advice for the best wine for the meal.

This restaurant is a greal favorite with locals, and we saw no tourists other than ourselves. We had checked the Guide Michelin and found that La Pobbia was within easy walking distance of our hotel. The service is very good, the food only averagely so. The price is definitely right. I had the four-course prix fixe, my wife the three-course... More
