Really nice place, plenty of locals (actually we were the only tourists there) great food, nice friendly staff! Il risotto was so good! Also recomended parmigana melanzane...Il tiramisu is a must and the red house wine!

My wife and I walked in. They were fairly busy for a Saturday night but said they would find us a table. So far so good. We got taken upstairs and into an annex room. My wife thought it was a cute space. They put us by the sliding door. Again okay. Until the sliding door opened and hit my... More

Food is not bad at all but service is disaster (waited for 15 just to get menu, very difficult to understand their menu, difficult to order without knowledge of Italian)

It started out well as the restaurant was a complete suprise. First problem was too many tables which meant waiters and customers squeezing past you all the time. Waiters were attentive and the food was good and tasty and well portioned. However shortly after starting to eat the sound system was turned up to a dealing level totally drowning out... More

Have to admit that after finding 3 hairs in my risotto, I lost my appetite. The waiter - to whom I'd pointed out the hairs - took my plate and walked away without proffering any apology or excuse! DISGUSTING!!!

Would not recommend. We had a hard time choosing from the menu, nothing looked great. My son wanted pizza. It was unmelted mozzarella on a very thick piece of bread. Not yummy. But maybe our fault because we asked for no sauce. Note to self...no special orders. The zucchini blossoms and meat cutlet (pork chop) milanese were both bland and... More

Here the pizza is served as a medium or large size slice. Do not get fooled by the word slice. Look around you and you will see that a medium slice is actually a quarter of a large pizza and not just any pizza ... the slice is very thick and when you bite into it it is like chewing... More

I walked in without a reservation on a busy Friday night but the waiter found me a table. The service was quick and polite but not overly friendly, though the waiter produced an English menu without my asking. The pizza here is unlike what I'm used to with a very thick almost bread like base, but very tasty with fresh... More

A cozy popular place, very nice atmosphere. The waiter misunderstood which pizza and which wine we wanted and only brought one dessert after we ordered two. However, it was very tasty!

Description
Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
