Second visit and very disappointing. First course--very heavy pasta with lobster was truly not good. Very very little lobster and the sauce was full of tomatoes--not subtle. In fact, reminiscent of Littel Italy New York. Second courses were a mix--fillets were a bit tough, turbot good but covered with pastry--all in all a big disappointment except for the wine. Service a bit slow.... More

The food was delicious and the staff friendly. It is very modern. We had a seafood sharing platter, then I had champagne risotto and my partner the tea bone steak. Both delicious!! All that, two glasses of wine and a bottle of water, plus service charge (to be expected) came to £81. This very reasonable and in keeping with Milan prices!... More

I tried this restaurant for lunch so, please consider this review only related to lunch and not dinner. I said that because of I didn't check the wine list and I chose courses from the daily menu. In summary the food is quite good and well served. The place is nice and with quite good interior design. For sure I... More

Just enjoyed a great meal, highly recommended the fillet in olive and pine nuts crust. Nice atmosphere and good service, will come back!

Rushed in on a rainy day without expectation and we were pleasantly surpass. Alexandro was a warm, informative and gracious waiter. Unique twists on each course with a solid feel of tradition. Regional white wine Occhetti Roero Arneis hardly marked up in price and excellent. Homemade chocolate soufflé awesome. Decor modern with rustic flair.

We ate at Marcellino as a part of a tour group so we ate a prescribed three course meal - penne pasta carbonara, veal cutlet with roasted potatoes, and a chocolate mousse. The pasta was nice but under-seasoned. The veal was nicely breaded but deep fried and was a little overcooked and also under-seasoned. The potatoes were very nice and... More

Nice find in a very quiet area. Beautiful carpaccio - probably the best I've ever had. Lobster spaghetti nice. Highlight was the very sweet Italian waiter. Would give it 6.5-7 out of 10 overall...

Dinner on Saturday night. We got a promotion menu', consisting of mixed cured meats as entrance, filet as main dish and Bavarese as dessert. Entrance tasted good, even if appearence was not top-level. About filet, the most considerable problem was cooking: we asked well-done filets, but on my opinion we received medium-rare meat. Dessert was nothing special. Staff was polite,... More

Went here on advise from hotel and what a good experience. The food and service were High class and the Wine list were excellent. Price level is medium but compared to quality its value for money. Try the steaks, they are like "bytter"
