The restaurant serves "Sicilian" style thick-base pizza, which is quite unusual in Italy, but the look and the taste was really great. The ham was so thin, you could see the structure of pizza underneath, yet full of flavor. Reasonably priced and tasteful vin di cassa is available, as well as in-house made desserts, which unfortunately come ready (not fresh)... More

Oh boy! This reminded me of my childhood and of the Pizzeria Zei in Varese. Only Pizza al Trancio (thick crust slices, so please don't expect large, flat round things), lasagne and wonderful homemade deserts. Some friends took us and it was amazing. The abbondante size is big and even my son didn't complain after a normal slice, although he... More

Much different from usual Italian pizza, pizza al trancio is made in big circles cut and served in slices. The pizza is much thicker and the sausage amd cheese more standardized. Da Pino is much appreciated flr he sausage and the base of thempizza that si soft and crispu at the same time. Menanrea beer is fantastic and served in... More

Charming vintage pizzeria with a really warm ambiente without any tourist trap. The staff is friendly and open for conversations. The food outmatches the generous prices by far. We were really satisfied :)

One of the worst eating experiences I've ever had. Pizza was nothing like a traditional pizza, poor quality materials and smelly ham (overcooked). The lasagna were also very bad and instead of mince they had ham. Beer was served in a room temperature (not cold at all). Would definitely not recommend it. Staff was ok though.

Very nice place. We have found the place searching in tripadvisor and it was has described. They don't serve the traditional pizzas, it's more a focaccia variant or something similar- it's called trancio. We have ordered a normal slice, it was the right size. Espresso was also nice and for the right price. In town we have found espresso at... More

Old school interior, approach and pizza too. Only males serving. But all these fit to a good atmosphere. Everybody was very friendly, pizzas simple and tasty, prices as in cantine. But space not too big (what is fine for me). Simply said charmy. And full of people, we saw mostly locals. Nice.

I went to this restaurant because it already had good reviews and it turned out that it was totally worth it! I had the pizza with the bacon but also tasted 2 other from my friends and they all were good. Go also for a desert. My friend went for the home made tiramisu and loved it. I personally went... I stopped there for a quick pizza on a frenzied Saturday night before a concert. Polite and friendly staff willing to talk and help you, crunchy Pizza SLICES of different flavors for a honest price. Tourists beware: this is not the usual way Italians eat pizza, since the traditional one is much thinner and round, yet the wood oven, the... More

Lovely place to eat, basic choice of pizza slice ( huge choice of flavours ) or lasagne and a good choice of very tasty deserts . I would highly recommend the Tiramisu(not for sharing !) Staff were very charming and welcoming , my daughter and I were treated to a ice cold limoncello and something else I can't remember the... More

Staying in Bicocca

Neighbourhood Profile
Bicocca
Although Bicocca is a peripheral district, many visitors will find it appealing. The district is enveloped by the immense Parco Nord (North Park), one of the largest parks in Europe. Inside is the theater Arcimboldi, one of the most important contemporary theaters where concerts and shows are organized. In the same area, there is the University of Milan Bicocca, whose distinct architecture rivals a movie set. Coffee shops, a multiplex and a shopping center are in the campus, along with the Fondazione Hangar Bicocca, one of the most famous museums of Contemporary Art.
