We had a good meal here. It's quite old fashioned decor, and a lack of customers on a winter Wednesday evening meant there wasn't a great atmosphere, however the food was very good. One 3 course meal, a large glass of wine and .5 litre of water for 18€ was impressive and tasty. The a la carte food was also... More

This nice restaurant is situated near to station Centrale (about 4 minutes walk), opposite to Best Western Atlantic hotel and right behind The Ideal Hotel, although not easy to be noticed because located at the end of a small street. Environment is good and nice deocrated. Oyster and fish are fresh tastey, risotto as antipasto of set dinner is perfect.... More

Nice restaurant with close to center station. The personnel are very friendly. You can eat all kinds of meal with a reasonable price. Although it is on the basement level, you will not feel it due to decoration and lightning. The lady serving is very nice and lovely. She helped a lot for menu. If you are not familiar with... More

As others have mentioned the managers special is great value. When we went they had 3 courses with a glass of wine for €18 and the food was really tasty. It was very quiet, but it had good air conditioning and unsurprisingly the service was very fast.

A hidden restaurant, down in the basement on a street near Milano Centrale train station. Just have seen locals eating there. It hasn't been redecorated in years. Good Food!

This place was close to where I was staying and since it was raining, decided to try it out. It was a Monday night but not a soul stirring inside. The steak I ordered was so, so as were the grilled vegetables but the lemon cake seemed like it had been hiding in a shoe bix for a week turing... More

Located downstairs from street level this beautiful restaurant has great style and lovely presentation. Pasta Carbonara starter was large enough for 2 to share and perfectly cooked. Sole was deboned and plated at the table, tasted so fresh with a light lemon sauce. Veal Piccata was tender, moist and delicious. Large portions and daily Manager Specials. Great find and walking... We visited on a Saturday night and found it virtually deserted: whether because it's in the basement I don't know. However, we had very good food, large portions and the service was great too, although given the lack of customers perhaps not surprising. The wine we wanted wasn't available but we were offered a better alternative at no extra cost... More

Got fed up walking in the rain looking for a restaurant and found this place by chance. The local area is not the nicest but we were hungry and wet! This restaurant is simple, unpretentious and cheap (by Milanese standards). My wifes' Penne was good,my steak overdone but a good piece of meat. €7 for a half-liter carafe is good... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
