Spent the weekend with a few friends and while walking around the Duomo area we decided to stop for lunch at the cafe. So here is the breakdown of our experience: - The waiters were helpful and went out of their way to talk in English. - The food was good albeit a little pricey. - The staff at the... More

A late lunch in a bar optimized to look like a modern Italian bar with 1970 reminiscences, complete with 1960s pop songs. Good food, light and tasty including a rich mixed beans soup with braised scallops, Caesar's and Niçoise salads and a few more options. A pleasant, good-looking and mildly showy if polite and relaxed, company. Prices look higher than... More

One of the top places to have an Apèro in Milan. Beside D&C Shop. Nice atmosphere, special drinks, good food and service.

Pricey drinks but tasty. Great place for a cocktail after shopping. My sister and I had a wonderful time there. The staff is friendly but cold and impersonal. We liked the girl who was cleaning tables with that small black purse.

Really poshy style, but boor indeed. Food is average quality but really expensive. Staff is kind, but not truly centered on the client. Contrast between substance and appearance makes the outcome really trash. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid.

If you are searching for a luxury place for aperitivo , but have a strict budget, this place is for you. The drinks are fantastic accompanied with little portions of food (TASTY!) in a luxury environment and great personal. I tried the dinner, and the food is very good, skip it if your budget doesn't allow. Great place to take... More

We enjoyed watching the Milan social scene while sipping on a cocktail! Pricey drinks but tasty and they bring a few complementary snacks with the drinks.

This spot was proposed by our hotel Concierge. It was a Saturday evening-night and we had an amazing time. The mediterranean style risotto, the sirloin steak, the truffle tagliolini were so very good... So was the traditional italian tiramisu. Furthermore, the cocktails were the best: Sicilian Bloody Mary (my wife had three of those), Deep Purple (I had two of... More

We remembered this place fondly from a previous trip to Milan. It is an oasis of quietness near San Babila. We first sat in the bar area, but the glass roof was leaking (it was raining hard) and my wife was getting drops of water on her head, so we moved to the restaurant section. Since we were planning to... More

After an evening of sipping prosecco and having an excellent time with friends last Saturday night at Bar Martinin in Milam, I stupidly left my handbag of choice for the evening (the uber glam Stella Mc Cartney who only gets wheeled out on special occasions) under our table. Upon realising in the morning my husband and I pegged it back... More

The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
