I often use to buy take away food at this bar. The ambience, I have to say, is pretty awful and bald. The kindness of the owners, however, and the goodness and the variety of dishes deserve a visit. I see this place like the best take away of the area, both for the price and the quality of the... More

Kilomangiaro is a small cozy Delicatessen, every day presents a multitude of own dishes of Italian cuisine, with fresh ingredients. A family-run, cosy and traditional shop, run by the owner with his wife and daughter, who from early morning juggle between trays of lasagna, pies, roasts, wraps, omelettes, salads, cakes and anything else of appetizing may be in mind. It is the local university students that, for years and years, they do stop in Viale Romagna 58, for their lunch break. There are those who will consume their meal at the tables outside, and who instead takes him away to consume it elsewhere, but everyone knows that the service is quick and efficient, the various dishes and beautifully cooked and owners from the bench will have for them always a smile, despite the crush of kids waiting to choose their own lunch. But the kilomangiaro is visited by ladies and gentlemen of the neighbourhood, loyal customers usually go from there to pick up a few dishes ready to take on the table for that day and not go shopping or cooking. Among the patrons there is also some bank clerk who works in the area, employees of Aler, Amsa, sometimes even 118 operators, who manage to carve out a meal Flash in an emergency and the other with the ambulance ... The kilomangiaro on demand offers banquet facilities and catering services for a variety of events. There are already many people who have asked for the support of the kitchen of kilomangiaro for parties like baptisms, communions, special birthdays, graduations, meetings, openings ... The "kitchen of kilomangiaro " is always open from Monday to Friday from early morning until 15. The owners work with passion and joy, because they love their work and especially love to please people who choose to serve them. And in recent years their commitment was to provide good dishes and hearty while maintaining competitive prices. Who attends the Kilomangiaro knows I can eat well on a budget. The prices of the various dishes are very affordable, very unusual for Milan. All with kindness and helpfulness.
