We have been suggested this restaurant by our younger daughter and we decided to follow her suggestion : never a decision has been better. The place is very nice in Turin downtown, close to one of the best churches in Turin, so the area is full of the Turin history. The ambient is very nice and quiet, the service is... More

We went to this place on our first night in Turin. I don't remember how it was ranked on TripAdvisor but quite good I think ! We walked there from Piazza Castello, the location isn't very ideal because it is in a small street and there is no terrace. But the inside is lovely, very cozy. They have a great selection... More

In my opinion Enoteca Bordo is one of the many similar restaurants located in the Quadrilatero Area. Being an enoteca the wine choice is interesting; the dishes, inspired to the Touscan cousine, are simple and tasty. Waiters are a bit hasty thou, I've been here only once and I may have found the wrong evening, but I had the feeling... More

The place was virtually empty -- maybe because it was lunchtime and a relatively new ristorante but also maybe because it strayed from strictly typical local cuisine. To be fair, it still offered many of the local dishes that we had become familiar with over our week in Piemonte, with a few other regions sparsely represented as well. Their house-baked... More

In the spring of 2013 Enoteco Bordo moved to its new location right next to the bustling Piazza Emanuele Filiberto. Less than 10 years ago this area was abandoned and more or less considered “no-go territority” for anybody in the right mind. Nowadays it’s a favorite hangout for the trendy Torinesi. As it is situated a bit off the beaten... More

Nice Enoteca- resturant in the very center of Turin. Many "Tuscan" dishes, well presented, nice sauces, grea past dishes and risotti. Accurate food presentation. Huge variety of wines. We tasted a very peculiar Grignolino biologico, non filtrato ( unfiltered) . it was a very special experience, a taste never tried before. Service is accurate, the ambiance is really cozy and... Unfortunately we didn't like it. The place is really downtown and it looks like really nice. They describe the food in a yummy way while, then, it doesn't fit the reality. Our plates were barely warm (did they precook then warn things up?) and the choice of wines wasn't huge. Will not come back.

We sought out Bordo because we had twice stayed with the owners' parents at Locanda Martelletti in Cocconato d'Asti. Bordo was everything we had anticipated. An interesting menu with plenty of choice....and it matched the promise. As it was Sunday lunchtime, the place was full and the atmosphere was lively. The service was attentive without beingtoo pressing.

We enjoyed an outdoor lunch of soups and sandwiches at this pleasant restaurant. The food menu isn't huge, but features delicious fresh local items, tastefully prepared and attractively priced. With a name like "Bordo," the wine list is, of course, extensive.
