We went here for a work social one evening. It is a little out of the way (15 minute drive outside the city center), but a very unique place. The service was excellent, the food was average but I am a picky eater. The appetizers...More

This was my second visit to this restaurant, organized through work. I enjoyed it both times! The place has a very unique atmosphere - it is family-owned and full of quirky art and antiques. The service is very good and the food delicious. I particularly...More

The restaurant name is fitting because the name "Il Ciacolon" means to be a talker. Well the host did just that. She is very gracious and made me feel right at home. I started off my meal with an assortment of "appetizers". You can go...More

At times you have an experience that you know is so unique and special that you will never forget. This didn't feel like visiting a restaurant for a meal. It was as if we had been invited to someone's beautiful home for an incredible luncheon....More

A bit out of the movida, this restaurant serves typical Friuli dishes, with a great formula: excellent buffet starters + 3 types.of menu. Very traditional place and food, excellent service. A must.

Situated a bit outside Torino centre, not to far from the river bank, still a very characteristic and genuine place. An absolute must for Italian food lovers. Not for a pizza but the extreme traditional and outstanding antipasti-buffet. You have eaten enough if you only...More

Description
Ciacolon is one of those places where time seems to have stood still. One of those rare places where you can hide away from the pressing rhythm of everyday life and, at least for a few hours, enjoy the same warm and friendly atmosphere as ever. Greeted with a smile and with the courtesy given to guests, you take a seat in the wide dining room friendly and warm, with the walls stuffed with paintings that tell the story of forty years. At the ringing of the Bell, you get to the buffet where the gaze lose its way along the table of starters, like a child in front the window of a toy store.
